Capture and review fuel purchases

Document reading can suggest receipt date, location, gallons, unit price, total, and fuel type. Review the image and correct the fields before saving.

Keep the compressed receipt photo with the entry and reopen it when checking a purchase. Company users should use their own account on each device.

02

Find records by period and state

Fuel tools include history, quarterly and yearly summaries, and state gallon totals, with report exports for your own review.

These records support recordkeeping and IFTA review. They do not establish a complete mileage record or replace tax preparation. Advanced GPS and ELD automation are deferred.

03

Understand storage before relying on it

Fuel receipts use account-specific device storage in the current testing release. Keep independent exports and copies of important receipts; clearing browser data can remove device-only information.

Shared cloud document storage in Driver Wallet and invoice storage are separate from fuel receipt storage. Review the storage information in Settings.

COMMON QUESTIONS

A few useful answers.

Do I need an ELD?

No. You can capture fuel purchases and use Rig Wheel without an ELD.

Will this automatically file IFTA?

No. Review exported records and combine them with your mileage and other required information before filing.
